MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and exists to encourage, equip, and help women become the best moms that they can be! Women who are pregnant or have young childeren (birth to kindergarten)are all invited to join MOPS.
MOPS provides an opportunity to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. We share our experiences, learn from one another, and support each other. MOPS meetings are a wonderful place to build friendships and have fun with other moms. It's like a playdate for moms!
To learn more about MOPS visit http://www.mops.org/
At each of our meetings, moms enjoy a chance to socialize over brunch and a hot cup of coffee. We have a short time for announcements, followed by a speaker (on a topic of motherly interest), plus a small group discussion that allows you to get to know the other moms in your group. The meeting is then finalized with a creative activity.
In addition to meetings, we also plan special events either with our kids and/or families or as moms only nights.
(Check the Calendar and Events pages for more information.)
There is a small per meeting charge of $7, which covers registration and supply expenses. However we would like for you to come see what we're all about first and decide for yourself. That's why your first visit is FREE!
If you decide to continue attending you may choose to pay per meeting or register for the entire semester, which will save you money. We want everyone to feel welcome so if finances are an issue please don't let that detour you from joining. We do offer scholarships on an as needed basis so please visit with our Finance Director to discuss your scholarship options.
The MOPS Experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. One key factor in the MOPS Experience is the relationships built within a group. Time and time again, MOPS moms share that the friends they make in MOPS are significant for this season of their life and on into their future. God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human.
However, when you become a mom, all your relationships change. It’s like you have landed on a different planet--"Planet Mom," and the relationships on Planet Mom don’t look like the ones on your previous planet. Your relationship with your husband, girlfriends, extended family, community and God have all changed. Your relationship with yourself has changed--you are a Mom!
This years theme will equip you for the joys & challenges of life on "Planet Mom." The focus will be on building relationships from a mom's point of view. Come re-discover your relationships today!

What if my child isn't in "preschool?"
We get this question a lot! In the MOPS world preschool means pre-first grade. So if you are pregnant, have a toddler, a child in preschool or of preschool age, or even a kindergartner please join us. We can accomidate all children pre grade school age and their wonderful mothers!
